Planned collection for richer outdoor routes

We collect suitable dogs from Wingate for longer adventure walks planned from our Billingham base. The route changes regularly, giving dogs varied scents, surfaces and surroundings instead of relying on a short local circuit. Before care starts, we agree access, handover times and the equipment that travels with your dog.
During the outing, GPS records the route, duration and mileage. You receive visible activity information, while our observations help explain how your dog managed the exercise, travel and any social interaction.

Midweek water exercise with transport

Dogs in Wingate can also be considered for our Wednesday water exercise routine. We collect for the 3pm booking, arrange a 20-minute session at the canine therapy facility and return at approximately 5pm to 5.30pm.
Before booking, we ask about swimming experience, water confidence, mobility and health history. Please share any veterinary guidance and tell us how your dog travels. We settle dogs into secure vehicle arrangements and need clear emergency contacts and return instructions for the journey.

Frequently asked questions

How long are the adventure walks?

Adventure outings usually begin at 90 minutes and can last several hours. The plan depends on the route, conditions and suitable dogs attending that day. We don't promise identical distances because group needs and energy can vary.

What should we provide for secure collection?

Please give us access details, an emergency contact and the agreed equipment for your dog. Tell us about vehicle behaviour, crate experience and any tendency to become travel sick or worried. Clear return arrangements are also needed.

Is the Wednesday swim suitable for every dog?

We consider age, mobility, health history, swimming experience and confidence around water. It won't suit every dog, and it doesn't replace veterinary care. Where an injury or medical condition is involved, please seek and share veterinary guidance first.
