A small home setting with room to settle
Kennel-style accommodation doesn't suit every dog, especially those used to being part of the household. We provide home dog boarding in Billingham for no more than four dogs at a time. This controlled number helps us supervise social contact, notice when a dog needs space and provide quiet sleeping areas after exercise.
A typical day includes a morning adventure walk, home-based activities, lunch and rest, followed by a late-afternoon walk. Indoor and outdoor time is planned around the group, with each dog's usual habits considered wherever the shared setting allows.

Introductions before any overnight stay
We begin with a meet-and-greet, followed by two daytime trial sessions over two weeks. Your dog can become familiar with us, the home and regular care group before staying overnight. We also see how they travel, rest, eat and respond to shared routines.
Boarding is for small, well-socialised dogs that are neutered or spayed, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas and ticks, and insured. We request vaccination and insurance documents. Rates are £30 per day for regular customers, £35 for other boarding customers and £25 for daytime care.
Frequently asked questions
Why are two daytime trials needed before boarding?
The trials give your dog time to meet us, explore the home and join the regular care group without immediately staying overnight. They also help us observe eating, resting, travel and social behaviour before both sides agree to a boarding arrangement.
What documents do we need to provide?
We ask for copies of current vaccination and insurance documents. Your dog must also be neutered or spayed and treated for fleas and ticks. Please share health information, medication instructions and emergency contacts before care begins.
What does a normal boarding day involve?
We usually begin with an adventure walk, then return for home activities, lunch and rest in suitable sleeping areas. A later walk adds more movement before the evening settles. We may adapt the order around weather and the needs of the group.
